Our Impact

In the initial stages of this project, one may think that the donations from a “grass roots fund” are so small that no positive impact can result. But, as a concrete example, a $120 donation can purchase a dairy goat for a family in Kenya which will provide milk to the family for years to come. For as lttle as $500, a family start-up business can be started in Central America. Here in the Unites States, a low-income student can be provided the opportunity to take his or her GED exam for $35. Together, over the years we can build a substantial fund which can and will make a greater difference. The fund will never be depleted, it will only grow.

Each member of the foundation has an equal opportunity to recommend valuable initiatives in the following areas: Family, Environment, Health, Education, and Human Rights. But, we are open to ideas in other areas as well. New recommendations are always welcome.

Take Action: the next steps….

· Make a minimum $25 / $50 (a dinner?) tax-deductible donation (tax receipt supplied). Your donation qualifies you as a voting member.

· Our website allows members to recommend causes for support. Add your suggestions for where we can help.

· Vote, bi-annually....all members will vote on where we contribute a designated percentage of our donations. The Board of Directors will handle the implementation and provide reports per the web site.

· Find new members. Hopefully, when you appreciate that 100% of all donations, including yours, directly supports a cause in which you have had direct impact, you will encourage your friends and/or family to join and participate. Help us grow!
